The Veni Vidi Comedi project was selected on March 8, 2016 by members of the local committee of the “European Charlemagne Youth Prize” Luxembourg to represent Luxembourg at the “European Charlemagne Youth Prize”.

Veni Vidi Comedi promotes the idea of self-cooking healthy, nutritious and quick meals with the use of the proposed recipes, thereby avoiding fast food and processed raw ingredients. As the recipes come from all over Europe, the cooks are discovering cross correlations to a new level.

The “European Charlemagne Youth Prize” aims to encourage the development of European consciousness among young people and their participation in the project of European integration. It rewards projects made by young people fostering the understanding and development of a common understanding of European identity while offering practical examples of Europeans living in the same community.

Veni Vidi Comedi will compete with 27 other national projects before European juries, meeting in Aachen on Thursday, April 7, 2016.
